scotland .anyone care?

Re: scotland .anyone care?
Good morning, fellow Britons!
I'm glad I can still say that.
The Yes voters weren't defeated as such; they hold the same views today as they did yesterday. But being part of the Union doesn't make you any less Scottish, (or English, Welsh or Irish,) so with increased powers for Holyrood on the way, maybe everyone has gained something from this referendum.

If the usually-lying bastards stick to their promises, which I hope they do
Think I'll go for a stroll in the trees.

The irony is that the Yes Camp convinced themselves that an independent Scotland would be a Camelot of shining knights bringing 'social justice' and prosperity to all.
As if, (and if only....)

Re: scotland .anyone care?
The No vote was an 'im alright jack vote' selfish bastards. So I hope we get more of the same just out of spite. We had a chance to change UK politicsand amke a real socialy conscious democracy but people just dont care, it seems people only care about themselves and their own nose. Fuck them I hope the UK becomes more unfair and less domacratic just to spite the selfish no voters.
ya dont miss yer water till yer well runs dry

Well, that's 4.5 million people that can still help vote the Tories out next May I guess.
Whichever way they voted I'm impressed by an 84% turn-out.

A fairly typical response from the disappointed Nationalist.anytimecowboy wrote:The No vote was an 'im alright jack vote' selfish bastards. So I hope we get more of the same just out of spite. Banging on about democracy but when a democratic vote delivers a clear majority against, then it's, "Fuck democracy and the selfish bastards who don't share my opinions."
Some of the aggression from the Yes camp must have turned more than a few undecided voters against.
