Been recommended this lot. New band hailing from bonny Scotland (anyone up there know of them?). An exilirating mix of country/blues/traditional/garage - apparently.

Sons & Daughters

There are some audio files on the site.

Rich.

They`re supporting The Futureheads and a mate of mine recommended them to me.

Well recommended. Better than that Franz Ferdi pish.

I've seen them several times now and I'm seeing them at possibly the gig of the year on the 30th when them, Aberfeldy and the Fire Engines play in Edinburgh. Shall be superb.

That sounds a great gig. I'd love to see The Fire Engines.

I think Sons & Daughters are from St. Andrews.

Dogs Die in Hot Cars are excellent also (maybe they're the band from ST. Andrews I'm thinking of). I can recommend their album. Excellent. Very XTC !

Will have to check them out if you`re comparing them to XTC!

Good mini album Jim. Jumbo has it for a few quid. OR just get the Johnny Cash single. Top stuff all round. I have it on vinyl so can't copy it as tape player is dead.:(
