Re: Wonky IV
Not long been back, it was a fantastic weekend.
Both gigs were great and pretty full too. An ambition of mine has now been achieved to see the Stranglers abroad the sound in the Haralem gig was great, and I think we showed the Dutch and the French how to dance down at the front too. La Folie for the first ever time hearing live sounded very good. A lot of great company and banter on the bus, and also very funny moments especially Pidge knocking on the wrong door asking for his Uncle, the bar staff on the Ferry dancing too Madness on the juke box.
I think the best was whilst we were on the Train coming back from Amsterdam and this Dutch bloke came down to us and told us to stop singing as he had a headache, the singing got even louder and he ended up moving to the next carriage. It was also great to meet some new people from the forum too for the first time too.
Thanks to Owen and Jacqui for making it all happen.
Heres to the next one.
