Facebook's o.k. if you want to keep in touch with a lot of real friends all over the world.

It's not really any good if you haven't got any real friends.

But anyone considering joning it should disable each and every application, invitation link and game recommendation, e.mail updates and advertising link. Otherwise it's a pain in the arse.

Quite right and also...having intelligent, inspiring friends would be best too. I am so annoyed of looking at cat pictures and reading what other people had for lunch on Facebook. Surround yourself with colourful characters.

Social Networking - as in contacting, meeting people etc. Discussing anything. I'm OK with it.

It's not gonnna go away - love it or hate it but I prefer the term - Sink or Swim. We cannot stop it so we may as well accept it and sometimes you find it very good & funny!

Some parts of Facebook are shite but some parts are good. Twitter seems a little bit pointless to me unless you are plugging something or just trying to get as many followers as possible.
As for Myspace I have not really been on it so cant really comment.
