Interesting topic, this. Scary in a way to contemplate what may have happened to a few of them because I think for practically all of us, we have 'the stranglers' in our blood. It was through this forum that I got to meet Yellowcake at Cambridge a few years ago and it was a real thrill to actually meet a fellow member. Maybe in a pure marketing context Jim could do some sort of follow-up? Ties in a bit with the other thread at the moment about how we all got to know about this site. I was one of those who began on Liz's site and can't help wondering what happened to him, too - not just for the site to shut down (funding issues?) but to apparently discontinue any apparent online connection with the band (e.g. through posting on here). Fuck me, if I'm MIA then it must be a bit shit on there!!
Nah, tell them I'll not be back to save the forum until
at least 4 site supporters and 3 registered users beg me, in writing.
And, furthermore, from now on I would also insist that every newbie
must first post a 200 word presentation about their first Stranglers/Hugh gig,
Album or memory, before they even get near the forum.
Tell them, it's either that, or else.... I'll just probably pop back on again when
I get a bit bored.
