Leeds Pre Gig Ale Supping
Anyone up for a beer/pie and peas/curry (definitely not effing Greggs though!) prior to the gig on Sat? "The Angel" is always good for a cheap Sam Smiths ale.

Off to the Leeds game, disgraceful timing by all concerned!
Think I'll go for a stroll in the trees.

Anywhere that is showing Wales v Ireland in the rugby is good for me.
Rugby Union is not only the greatest team sport in the world on the field, but without a shadow of a doubt, is the greatest team sport in the world off the field. Nigel Owens.

Obviously Fab Cafe went down as well as a fart in a spacesuit last time so what do you reckon Timothy? "The Angel" or Whitelocks maybe?

Fab Cafe was a bit of a star wars geek bar, but seeing as though its where you got Hugh Cornwell pregnant, it was a point of interest for fans.
Never been to the Angel or Whitelocks - but both look good!

Call me daft but I have a sneaking suspicion that the Irish bar O'Neills, behind the Town Hall, will be showing Ireland rugby Not a bad pub either, often miserable bar staff though.

Re: Leeds Pre Gig Ale Supping
I'd rather do the Victoria next door (much better selection of ale) but if the rugby is required then I'm happy to compromise.

bit gay though innit?

Re: Leeds Pre Gig Ale Supping
It was the cheap option - it's about £1.40 a pint or something silly.
If you're on for decent ale I strongly suggest the Victoria. It's just a relatively short walk across Millenium Square then to the venue.
