Jim, For all of us who have contributed to the one and only site that caters for the true fans, and perhaps to those who haven't, would you please clarify exactly what the benefits of giving a donation to the site will bring us and hopefully this may encourage others to do the same, i mean it's not a charity, right! Their has to be an incentive for people to donate especially in these difficult times!

I explained this in my first post - The main facts are - money goes directly into the future of this site - I just add it to the site fees which means that at the moment this site will not disappear for well over a year now THANKS to everyone who has donated. Everything is going towards funds - I see admin, maintainance and upkeep as my general day-to-day responsibility (as I knew what I was getting into when I started the site) although I am looking for moderators http://www.thestranglerssite.co.uk/3for ... =2&t=12402

The more donations I receive the longer the site remains without me begging again - currently well over a year (exact stats are not to hand at this moment).

...oh and in terms of materialistic "what do I get?" thoughts well you get thanks and extra PM storage space.

Sorry Jim if my post sounded like, 'what do i get out of it' which wasn't exactly the intention, i think £5 is an absolute bargain for the unrivalled information and discussion that we get on here as i'm sure most do,, just think that any incentive for people to put their hands in their pockets has to be clearly on display otherwise they simply won't bother, that's how i see it! I'm sure that's agreed! Thanks,

No need to apologise I realise what your intention was - thanks mate.

However, I'm not forcing everyone to donate - it's up to people's decision and I respect everyone on here regardless.
