Re: the who
Ive never got in to them. I've got some mates who rave about them but they've never really done it for me.

Re: the who
Not sure if i would describe myself as "a big Who fan", though I do like them very much and I am quite big, not fat you understand just tall......................ahem, anyway I like The Who and regret that like so many other bands I never got round to seeing them live before half of them were gone forever.
I tried to make him laugh, He didn't get the joke, and then he said I wasn't right in the head.

Re: the who
"the who the ultimate collection" is a great compilation, but they are a very diverse band, each album has its own sound.jason wrote:Ive only heard whats played on the radio etc. Whats the best cd to start with?

Re: the who
There best album was "Who's Next" which is brilliant.
Hugh - "We had gangs of skinheads coming along trying to cause problems and stuff"
Rick Wakeman - "How did you deal with it?"
Hugh - "Our bass player used to jump off the stage and beat the shit out of them!"

Re: the who
Who's Next is great and let's not forget they gave us the best live album "The Who Live @ Leeds" ("All Live.." aside of course)
