Ive never got in to them. I've got some mates who rave about them but they've never really done it for me.

Not sure if i would describe myself as "a big Who fan", though I do like them very much and I am quite big, not fat you understand just tall......................ahem, anyway I like The Who and regret that like so many other bands I never got round to seeing them live before half of them were gone forever.
I tried to make him laugh, He didn't get the joke, and then he said I wasn't right in the head.

"the who the ultimate collection" is a great compilation, but they are a very diverse band, each album has its own sound.

There best album was "Who's Next" which is brilliant. 8)
Hugh - "We had gangs of skinheads coming along trying to cause problems and stuff"
Rick Wakeman - "How did you deal with it?"
Hugh - "Our bass player used to jump off the stage and beat the shit out of them!"

Who's Next is great and let's not forget they gave us the best live album "The Who Live @ Leeds" ("All Live.." aside of course)
