Best Christmas TV?
OK, I always watch too much TV at Christmas and this year was no exception.
The highlights for me...
The Royle Family - very good, very funny. Love the description made by one character of Hitler as 'that small bloke with the moustache who always plays the baddie in war films'
Blackadder Goes Forth - an excellent documenatry - including interviews with all the cast including the usually reclusive Rowan Atkinson - about this lovable prog. What a show it was
Eastenders - OK, I admit it, I often watch Walford's finest. And this year's Christmas special was a blinder...
The slightly disappointing...
Gavin and Stacey - worked, but only in parts
Dr Who - see description of Gavin and Stacey
The surprisingly enjoyable
Top of the Pops - I realised I have quite missed this. Coldplay and Kaiser Chiefs were pretty cool I thought.
Any other thoughts?

Dr Who, Everything else has been shite of the highest order.

Re: Best Christmas TV?
Only saw 2 things . One was the excellent Blackadder docu . If only a fifth series was in the pipeline ..........
The other was Dr Who . Very disappointed I was too . The giant cyberman was to say the least , very stupid . Last year was the ONLY special I have never watched , because Minogue was in it and I won't watch or listen to anything she is in . This one I sort of wished I hadn't watched as the Doctor's second greatest enemy ever became almost a parody .
The series definitely needs a new producer and new idea's.

Only thing we have watched was Dr.Who, which cut off the the last 30 seconds as we'd Sky+'d it.
Had to resort to BBC iPlayer to see the end.
Can never resist a Scarlet woman
I've been spending the spare time catching up on the Biathlon World Cups on Eurosport, to clear out the Sky+,
Mrs T got Sky Movies for the month, but I've yet to see something on the listings I've not already seen

I thought Tom Courtney in Royale Family was brilliant! How he kept a straight face for the line:
"Gagging weren't you Joycelyn, whilst you were scraping it out..."
When refering to the shit stuffed in his Mondeo exhaust

If Dave was to use a Hammond L100 for just one more gig I'd die content.

His subtle pissedness after a few sips of the punch was good too - nice to see some quality acting on TV.
Gavin and Stacey anyone?

It crowd & Match of the day.
Was dissapointed with Eastenders was expecting Sean to go back to being mental again. However the random line of "Charlie, you know how i always say to you id wish you'd fall down a well and die"
