Not sure what sound you are looking for but I use a SansAmp Bass Driver with my Precision and Ashdown Mag300. A great range of sounds from the perfect JJ impersonation all the way up to Lemmy-type growl.

You could always loosen the speakers in your cab/combo, that'll give the sound a bit of something, although you are also in danger of the speaker flying through the front of the grill and getting a fecking great magnet behind the ear'ole!
If Karen Carpenter had eaten Mama Cass' sandwich they'd both still be alive today!
