Will Hugh and JJ ever get together for a beer????

No, its not another HC rejoining the Stranglers thread. But I often wonder if they will ever get together for a beer. They were obviously very close back in the day and JJ has often refered to HC as being the older brother. I'm not bothered about them performing together, but its a great shame if they never sort out the hurt. Who knows, perhaps they will meet in a pub in Guildford one day, I'm sure even now, they must have some feelings for each other. Anyhow, your a long time dead!

Was I missing something with the I Hate You song? If not then I'd be shocked if JJ ever wants to see HC again. Course I know nowt about it all.

Lafolie, they do have some feelings for each other. But they are not the kind of feelings that are likley to see them drinking together again I'm afraid.

I thought I Hate You was about the ex-missus?

It's quite possible the lyrics on Coup de Grace are inspired by anger felt for Hugh, at least according to my reckoning at the time.

Who knows.

I don't really care much for what they think or say about each other because I've heard it all so many times from the parties themselves. I can't be doing with negative - burns up too much of your life I say. I got my own concerns. Pluis, I hate bitching. Unless there's a damn good reason, of course!

I've never really thought "I hate you" was aimed at Hugh. I thought it was more towards George Bush or JJ's ex. Interesting - I guess the phone hanging up sample could point at it - It's a bit much if that's the case.
