Listening to some really obscure punk/new wave tracks - the likes of...

The Bleach Boys - Chloroform
Subway Sect - Parallel Lines
Helen Keller - Dump On The Chump
The Stiffs - Stiff Love

Faders, Vipers, No Condition, DV8 - some really crackin' punkster/powerpop toons 8)

Tunes like - 'Teenage Treats', 'Grammar School Girls' (with a mention of The Stranglers in the lyric!!), 'Psychotic Surfer', 'Jetsetter'....

Great listening on a hot May day
Allow me to re-arrange your face, sometimes I'd really like to get to know you better

If Dave was to use a Hammond L100 for just one more gig I'd die content.

Had the day off today and was sanding down the floorboards in the living room, but once the dust (and noise) had settled it was No More Heroes and the Damned's Black Album at full blast. Haven't listened to the Heroes album for a couple of years now, and it's never been one of my favourites, yet it was mighty fine today

Sort of Kraftwerk with guitars on top. Rather good. 8)

Got the new Sparks CD in the mail yesterday: Exotic Creatures of the Deep. It's not quite as inventive as the last couple of albums, and probably more of a grower than an immediate hit.
