Me and 3 other cnuts will be in the Captain Nelson at 5.00pm. Maybe earlier, probably head to the gig via a few pubs at about 6.00pm.
aparently, maryport can be a bit of a clique, but the local slang for 'mate' is 'marra'? so I've been told to keep saying it and nobody will guess I'm an outsider.
I had a drive up there last week and it was bloody cold, but on the plus side there are plenty of pubs near the venue.
anyway, if you're in the captain nelson, come and say hello.
I'll be the one stood with 3 scruffy old men, wearing a rather snazzy 'burning up time' T-shirt.
:p :D :wtf?: :pissedagain: :booze:

You been on one of those power word learning days again Rich? Had to reach for me dictionary then. Quixotic indeed!Rich wrote:ShavenRaven wrote:Paul ... wot's a cnut?
It's an anagram of 'tunc'.
OED; Tunc (noun) a rather portly male individual with a quixotic taste in music and a preference for Real Ale. Originates from the Latin 'tunncor' - fat, pissed bloke at a gig.

It should be the opposite, really. I just came over a bit 'call my bluff' for a second. It's an affliction I can't seem to shake off. I'm taking Guiness and Marlboro (as the Doctor ordered), but that does'nt seem to be working at the moment - so I'm gonna up the dose.theraven1979 wrote:Quixotic indeed!

ShavenRaven wrote:Ah .. I see ... So what's the feminine version for this anagram ... bonk ? :p
OED: Nobk (from the Russian 'nobkski' - noun). Rather attractive female from the province of Kamchatka, in a state of undress after consuming copious amounts of Vodka whilst listening to traditional East Russian folk music on a Friday night.
Originates back to the latin 'nobkuss' - pissed up slapper at a disco.
Rich.
