WARNING! Convention & Left luggage lockers at rail stations

Just seen the advice on the fishal site about not much cloakroom space at the venue & advising using left luggage lockers at rail stations instead.

erm... lockers don't exist any more! You can hand your luggage in to some spotty adolescent in an oversized uniform who will x-ray your luggage, give you a ticket & charge you £8 per day (or part thereof) for the privilege!! That was at Euston but it's the same elsewhere.

All for preventing terrorist bombs & all that, but £8! I'd want a taxi ride to the venue as well for that.

I think you can just leave it on the counter of any high street bank, call over to the staff and they'll sort it for you.
