Mr Spooner, not heard owt from him for a while.
Don’t know if it’s true or not I think I heard a rumour that he was banned from the forum for the umpteenth time? He apparently upset yet again one of the sensitive 6 snowflakes?
Come back Mr Spooner, oh and alias too, he was good for a larf but unfortunately he was Scottish.
Not banned. I think he just died

He ‘just’ died? That’s awful and was not aware of that, I don’t recall it being mentioned on the forum. I only knew the guy as Thrubeingcool or Spooner, I think Barry was his name? so when did he pass away? I never met him but I really liked him he seemed a really nice chap and brought many things to this forum, his excellent knowledge of The Stranglers history for one and another one being his wonderful sharp dry sense of humour and brilliant wind ups which I’m sure put a smile on many a people’s face and causing them to laugh out loud (something seriously lacking on this forum over the last few years due to the proliferation of and over sensitivity of a minority of negative miserable so called ‘fans’ who do nothing but complain about the band and spout negativity and try to bring everyone else down with their negative opinions) Mr Spooner will be sadly missed. He’s alive and kicking last heard giving an interview on the radio about 40th Anniversary of Rock City

By the way, there is Paula French, Paul Roberts greatest fan?
I meet her on the 95 Autumn Tour..she came over from Brisbane!!
You sure that wasn't Cheryl Davis? She came over for PR gigs a few times beginning of the century - one of PR's faithful 50 (as am I)

Paula is on fb - last time i saw her in real life was eleven years ago at a Paul & John acoustic show
--eric--
i was attracted by a night torchlight parade
