I got their best of and there are some excellent songs on there.

Their last album didn't flick my switches but the first two were fantastic - classics in fact. Think I prefer the Housemartins tho.

'Song For Whoever' and 'You Keep It All In' take me back to a childhood holiday in Scotland and are all time faves of mine, classic pop masterpeices. Budding songwriters should take note!

Without a shadow of a doubt OG. But even then 3 out of the 4 of them were living the 'champagne socialist' lifestyle, with only, I think, the drummer, still living in his Mum and Dad's council house in Hull, whilst the rest of them had bought an 'investment' in Sussex. Doesn't detract from the fact that The Housemartins made some lovely music.

Not at all OG. They were meant to embrace it and live like Kings, as we all would.....................Not deny it and pretend they were all living with thier Mums and Dads back in the old family council house homestead back in Hull.
