If you like the early Antz, Dirk and the B-sides you will love it, it takes about 3 or 4 plays to get into it. A lot of the early reviews on Amazon said it was shit,but 1 week later its getting a lot of 5 stars now people have had a good listen.

The new My Bloody Valentine album, which is surprising for a couple of reasons: Firstly, the fact that it exists at all (it's their first album for something like 22 years, and they just sprung it on everybody out of nowhere yesterday with practically zero warning), and second, the fact that it's so good!

Thanks for the heads up on the unexpected new MBV, Mr Staninblack. Anyone with a fond remembrance for this sort of thing may want to try SHIELDS, the new effort from Gizzly Bear. Just got the thang, will scribble thots on it later.
