Nah, nuthin wrong with "Laughin' Len". Like The Smiths, when most folk describe their music as
depressing, or "Slash-yer-wrists-music" they just don't usualy get the joke.

Love Green Gartside-Strohmeyer's LP Cupid and Psyche after getting a reminder on the Rough Trade TV doc the other night.... If you are gonna pick one 80's Lp - then get this one!

Then there's The Cure - early stuff was unsurpassable...

as was this reissue for the US market... the same but jumbled plus the remix of Boys Dont Cry...

Ive got that album too, on vinyl. Yes you are right its pretty good. I must dig it out.
