The The - Uncertain Smile.

Gotta be the original version though!

You hear Jools on the 12". The original 7" has a bit o' joanna but mostly sax. The 12'" has the Jools solo. Heard the 12" first, so prefer that myself.

Red Lorry Yellow Lorry - Blasting Off

Not as frenetic as their early stuff, a bit mellower but still has that energy and intensity that they were famous for.

One of the most under rated bands of a generation imho

Can´t sleep, so Im up and listening to Wire´s "It´s Beginning To And Back Again" from mid eigthties. Earlier listened to the excellent debut CD from The Indelicates "American Demo", some great tracks including the storming "We Hate The Kids" and "A New Art For The World".

Check them out.

Nice one. Had Raw Power on the other week, cos of old Ron's sad passing, even though he
wasn't on that album. I did give Fun House a twirl too. Loose- Top 5 rock songs ever.
