Alan Lancaster death at 72 RIP.

Was very sad to hear that original Quo bass player and founding member died yesterday, he was in the band at their peak period, a great player and nice chap RIP. Lt Kudu.

Yep Alan was a Legend and a very down to Earth Gentleman. He had been suffering with MS for a Decade apparently.

Saw him with Quo at the Hammy Odeon in 82. Excellent proper rockin version of the band unlike the pale imitation of the band I saw in 86 supporting Queen. He had left by that stage.
