David Byrne lived in Scotland until he was two. And that’s a true fact...

Well said..i too think thats what is good about forums like jims...we do all share one thing and that is our love for this bands music but also the fact that everybody has their own different views of opinions for this band which i think is a good thing and makes this forum intresting.
Of course you will get that with a band whose been running along through peoples lives and different fans will jump in through different stages and years of this bands career which will cause differences along too with the bands reluctance to ever be stereotyped or categorized and the fact is that they have never been caught standing still and have never been afraid of trying something new and to change direction to their stlye of music through the years which will result in fans difference of opinion........which is a good thing on forums like this.
Long live jims site.

Pistols followed by Buzzcocks. Stranglers only did a few punk songs if you filter down the first few albums.
Shove it up yer bollocks then!

They get my vote. Just read on their Facebook page, they have recorded a new album.(the final album, again)

Yep agree, love the Pistols. Never Mind The Bollocks is one of the best albums ever recorded and Steve Jones was a big influence on my early guitar playing days (His Les Paul guitar tone on NMTB’s is imho one of the best sounding) but they were a manufactured boy band programmed by Malcolm McLaren. The Pistols were the most influential but The Stranglers were real.

What’s/ who’s the best is total nonsense anyway but just a bit of fun.
I have Faves and it’s always been these 6

The Stranglers
Sex Pistols
The Clash
Buzzcocks
The Damned
The Jam
