Re aboves,
car-crash viewing, billed Rotten V Marky Ramone,
(no love lost there) I believe was a promo interview
for the above Punk series. Any views on Lydon?

A lovely bloke apparently. Always liked him and his sense of humour/ pisstaking. The ‘Rotten’ thing is obviously his ‘other side’ but an excuse to act like a cunt I guess, but a funny cunt nonetheless.MiB81 wrote: ↑22 Feb 2020, 17:22 Re aboves,

Would like him and Steve Jones to have a cuppa tea with The Stranglers. Shame he and JJ or/and Jet couldn’t meet up, I think they would get on, Jet more so than JJ I guess. Hugh’s chatted with Steve on his Jonesy’s Jukebox show in Dead Loss LA, which was nice and Glen Matlock was at The Stranglers convention in 2001 with his band. Innit.
Dunno what the fuck I’m on about to be honest, had too many shandies again.

I didn't know that Henry Rollins could be so quiet.MiB81 wrote: ↑22 Feb 2020, 17:22 Re aboves,

It looked like lydon didn't know anyone else was on the stage.

Agreed, it looked like he assumed it was another punk interview all about him.Yanders wrote: ↑24 Feb 2020, 13:24I didn't know that Henry Rollins could be so quiet.MiB81 wrote: ↑22 Feb 2020, 17:22 Re aboves,

As a recent fan of Mr Rollins and Black Flag (a bit late I know) I think Henry was just glad to be there and was enjoying every minute of his hero - Lydon aka Mr Rotten just going on and on and being very funny and annoying.Yanders wrote: ↑24 Feb 2020, 13:24I didn't know that Henry Rollins could be so quiet.MiB81 wrote: ↑22 Feb 2020, 17:22 Re aboves,

I still think our British sense of humour and taking the piss goes over some Americans heads.

Henry knows the score though, unlike that Ramones geezer. Is he wearing a Syrup?
He really needs that pulling off his head, he really does.
Now that would be funny watching a pissed and quite clearly disturbed (wife’s illness) Mr Rotten do that.
