THE DAMNED READING SUB 89
The Damned will be playing Reading Sub 89 on Thursday 18th August, as part of their 40th Aniversary tour. Whilst i can't get enough of my Albert Hall DVD bootleg, who is up for going to this gig?. I have never been to the Sub 89 before so it will be a new venue for me. Tickets are £22.50. Can't get enough of The Damned at the minute!

See you there Boody. Regarding the new album i didn't think SWP? was that good. Maybe thats why they dont want to do another. Grave Disorder is brilliant from start to finish. SWP? is a bit below par.

The Damned ain't what they used to be
Allow me to re-arrange your face, sometimes I'd really like to get to know you better
Re: THE DAMNED READING SUB 89
A sweat bath of a venue .And The Damned have longer album gaps than The Stranglers.

I am going to a few concerts on a bit of a whim because there is no Stranglers mini-tour or Autumn trip to Europe in the pipeline. This is one of them. I only own Strawberries and a compilation but I love both of them, but I haven't seen them since 1977, when Motörhead were second on the bill.

I Like Some of the songs on SWP like "A nation for Heroes", "Perfect Sunday", "Maid For Pleasure" and the last song "Dark Asteroid" but its just not as good as Grave Disorder.

its the writers though pidge - when DV can be arsed to write with the capt magic happens on SWP he only got involved in perfect sunday with Capt - the majority were capt on his on and capt and pinch - thats why its not so good a grave disorder when DV was involved with 6 of the tracks
