New Order: Double CD Remix Dance album 'Complete Music'
New Order - Double CD Remix Dance album 'Complete Music' Has just been released today 13/05/2016 by mail order to fans by Warner Music Group/Mute...
And it's ace, over 84 minutes of fine Dance Grooves and much better than the regular 'pop' album version released by them a few months ago titled 'Music Complete'
Most on here aren't in to dance music... So, this Remix album is definitely NOT for you. Also it's 'completely' (pun intended) different from New Order's previous output too... so regular fans probably won't like it either!

I fecking love New Order, they're genuinely one of the few, maybe the only, band I've followed right from the start, but over their entire history near enough, they've brought out too many substandard remixes and extended versions. It's often felt like they're flogging a dead horse, similar to how great bands bringing out various shapes and versions of average singles.
What's the track listing, Bernie?

Hi Robert, Will probably only be of interest to people who have a passion for Dance Music (Moi!) and spin tunes at Parties in dirty Warehouses (Moi!)... All the tracks are Extended Dance Remixes (some over 9mins long) But if you're really interested here goes matey:Bobinblack wrote:I fecking love New Order, they're genuinely one of the few, maybe the only, band I've followed right from the start, but over their entire history near enough, they've brought out too many substandard remixes and extended versions. Always thought Blue Monday was an electronic rip off of Hanging Around.

Re: New Order: Double CD Remix Dance album 'Complete Music'
Been an on & off fan of New Order over the years, but I think the Music Complete album is actually their best album. This remix album is even better! In a world when 'remix' means stripping all heart & soul out of a song so it becomes a sub-standard & unrecognisable twiddly-knob ego-wank version of the original, it is so good to have remixes that are longer versions and sound very much like them. Just like the 80s! New Order have given us a whole album of them, in the track order of the original. I absolutely love it!
