I love the screaming guitar sound on the Vienna album. Still like this album today, although 1 or 2 songs sound a bit cheesy now IMO. The title track is one of these, classic though it is..
I must check out 1 or 2 of their other albums.
Kraftwerk for me are the ultimate masters of electronic rock..

Some good comment's.I just hope they tour again? But Midge seems very busy with solo stuff and Billy Currie does instrumental solo stuff.A mention for Chris Cross to and the fantastic
human metronome Warren Cann, a true pioneer with his mix of acoustic, electronic, trigger and drum machines.

Vienna album is like La Folie album to me - A superb piece of work. Love the fade from Western Promise into Vienna

Saw a big pile of UVox vinyl in a charity shop the other day, 12"s, Albums
that pink one, that black embossed on, all £1.00 each.
Couldn't be arsed though, much prefer the Foxx era.
Young Savage- now there's a tune.

Not bothered one way or another - only know one song ( Vienna ) - they were around when I was in my hard core punk era so hardly going to mix the two. Nothing against them but I just never bothered . Wasn't really interested in synth or new romantic stuff .
All quiet ..........

Thin Wall and All Stood Still are great songs.
Last time I came here a friend of mine just got triple-jacked over a steeplehammer and jessop jessop jessop jessop jessop

Have to agree with MiB81 - early 'Vox were the only acceptable variant of this band. Midge Ure period 'Vox are pants and 'Vienna' is an AOR piece of synth-etic pop.
Literally..... it means nothing to me

Phenomenal band from the first album (with Foxx) up to Rage In Eden, although Quartet and Lament both have some brilliant stuff on them. After that, though...
