Well, it took me about a dozen listens admittedly but I'm really warming to the new album. PiL put on a great show in Manchester too last week.

God bless John, still a force to be reckoned with.

I really like John Lydon but I don't really like his voice so I've never really got into Pil. I did like the single Rise though.

He was great on the Piers Morgan interview. I never knew he was supposed to be on the Lockerbie flight.

Listend to it twice, I show no signs of Warming to it but you never know. Song's like "Cest la vie" and "Betty paige" are utter rubbish, but "I'm not Satisfied". and "Know you" aren't too bad. So i need another 4 listens before i warm to it.

Stick with it Pidge. 'Spice Of Choice' and 'Whole Life Time' are a couple of my personal favourites.

Give it a proper listen, the present line up are fine musicicians and there's some great music on there. Although not a classic by any stretch of the imagination 'What The World Needs Now' is one of the strongest albums I've heard by PiL. Still, each to their own.

Looking forward to see PIL for the first time tomorrow night at The Sheperds Bush Empire.

They're on the Jools Holland program this week.

Oh good. Killing Joke should be on with their new album shouldn't they? They've never been on have they.

No they haven't. They probably had a better chance a few years ago. The bands on there these days tend to be very safe.

Did anyone see Sleaford Mods the other night? Far from safe with lots of swearing etc. Very odd band!
