I know I said it didn't matter if I liked the band or not, but that's pushing it mate
Queen, too, would be out of the question.
With you there. Also Abba, Robbie Williams, Ed Sheeran, any manufactured/boyband. And that's just for starters.....

The latest docs I've watched were all on Netflix..

''Big Star: Nothing Can Hurt Me'.
A very detailed and interesting look at a band that had no success in their lifetime but have become influential since.

'The Other One: The Long Strange Trip of Bob Weir'.
About the co-founder of The Grateful Dead who wasn't Jerry Garcia. Also worth a look if you can stand all the hippy clap-trap.

Next I'll be watching 'What Happened, Miss Simone?' which is about the strange and contrary life of Nina Simone.

Oil City Confidential was my favourite rockumentary until I saw Searching For Sugarman. If you don't know the story, don't read about it. It will ruin the experience. Just sit back and enjoy it.

I enjoyed 'Beware of Mr Baker', I'd heard and read things over the years about his general obnoxiousness and bitterness, but nothing actually prepared me for watching that doc! All of those stories about him being difficult to work begin to make complete sense.

'Cracked Actor', of course, is always worth a watch, because it shows Bowie in mid '70s America being completely fucked up and off his face.

I haven't seen the Alice Cooper documentary yet, that's on my "to watch" list.

Have I missed comments on 'Filth & The Fury' and The Future Is Unwritten?

Blimey, if someone could make a film about the MIB as good as 'The Filth... then we would be very lucky fans indeed.

Does 'Anthology' about the Beatles count?
Think I'll go for a stroll in the trees.

If you like The Manics their "No Manifesto" documentary is pretty good.

I'm not a fan but that Kursaal Flyers documentary is worth an honourable mention for the gritty account of life on the road.

There was one about X Ray Spex done some years ago that was repeated recently. Really bloody depressing.

Watched The Wrecking Crew the other night, worth a watch, about the "band" of session guys
that worked on most of the major hit songs in 50's, 60's and 70's US pop.
