Jaz did a very strange update the other day on the Pledge website. He appeared to be pissed on a boat on an ocean somewhere!
Hope Jaz is OK and not going too 'overboard' cos I cant wait to see em in November. Thinking about going to a few more dates, something ive not really done since I followed The Stranglers around the country back in the 80's on a few tours.
80's? Hey sounds like a song!
That KJ box set price is mental but would we think differently if The Stranglers would offer such a thing? Would we buy that? Also I wish Killing Joke would knock all this classical music stuff on the head, I love classical music but don't want to hear it from Killing Joke, don't want them wasting time on it, just wanna hear them rock out and tour every year.
Actually I've kinda changed my mind as I saw a video on youtube of Jaz listening to a Classical version of the Raven King and it sounded most excellent indeed.
Requiem
Revelations
Nightime
Pylon
Killing Joke 2003 & now
Democracy
One listen to "Democracy" its a strong follow up to 2003 i like "Intellect", "Aeon", "Democracy" & "Another bloody election". Will have to give it another listen. Also just bought my ticket for the Roundhouse gig in November. KJ number 6 for me!. Had to settle for circle seating as there is no standing tickets left. I left it too long. I might go to another one on this tour maybe Oxford but the tickets are even more expensive than the London Scala last year £45!!, still i saw less than 20 tickets left for this gig at the roundhouse!. So i was really lucky to get in.
Also saw the price of the box set, and didn't hang around to see anything else!!!.
