He could have hit his head on the side of the boat, or fell hard into the water and hurt his back or neck?

He's diabetic and had an episode, hence losing his balance amd ending up in the drink

Hoping he will be back to UK soon so he can get decent medical care

It would be great if they were to release some new material soon but I'm not sure if they have anything planned.

It's being worked on. Not sure how soon it will be released. It's only at writing/demo stage at the moment. Lots of digital file transfers etc which is not teh preferred way of working!

Ok cheers Jet I'll give it a go. Yes it would be good to have a new album from KJ. Pylon was brilliant.

Only just found out KJ are on tour in 2022, got my tickets today for Leeds & Nottingham.
Hope there’s another new album soon, the last 3 were absofuckinglutely magnificent.
Actually looking forward to seeing KJ more than The Stranglers in 2022 tbh.

Jetblacksdad, ayup, any idea if those Geordie demos I’ve just been listening to are for real? Certainly sounds like his guitar tone & fx. I’m really enjoying - Geordie Walker Demo 5 February 2007

I'll be really looking forward to a new album from them . I hope it's more along the lines of Brighter than a thousand suns rather than the Hosannahs album sound.

I don't think Youth likes that one (but I do).

Pylon was a great one especially the expanded edition. It did have moments of that melancholy that they are so good at.
