He did say ORIGINAL song.
The band have been doing this set for the last two years.
They occasionally add a song or two from 'Phantasmagoria' and even more occasionally a song from 'Grave Disorder'.
I expect next year's 40th Anniversary Tour will shake it up a bit.
The setlist at Sunderland suited me perfectly as I prefer the older stuff. I certainly wouldn't mind hearing some of the newer stuff either.
I took the missus to watch Lionel Richie a couple of years ago and all his stuff sounded dated. The Damned just sounded timeless the other night with great guitar work by Sensible and I just love Vanian's stage presence.

I've checked the photos and videos I took on my phone and I reckon they were on for about an hour and 40 minutes all told. It was Sensible's birthday so a little bit of time was taken up with impromptu happy birthday songs.
Popped my Damned cherry yesterday @ Scotland Calling, what was I thinking for all these years????????
They stole the show and should have headlined instead of the Exploited.
The Captain making an appearance with La Brass Banda at the aftershow gig was also brilliant. Smash It Up & I Say Captain
