Camel...Portsmouth (bad enough having to go there, but in the back of an MG behind the drivers seat). They were abominable. I wish I'd got on stage and knifed them. Its the first gig I'd been to where the crowd sat down. Bloody shite the boring hippy twats.

Worst one I went to was with a mate who (still) is obsessed with Jethro (Dull) Tull, what a totally dull crap, I got bored stiff so went to the bar.

Whilst in the bar a girl, well she were about 40 came in and I said to her, 'not yer cup o tea either ?'. she was well cheesed off so I delighted in telling her about the merits of the Stranglers, he old man came for her at the end of the gig and he wasnt best pleased seeing me chatting up his missis.
