Harvest Home by Big Country. Their first single and still the one I like the most as it just sounds so fresh and original and with a killer guitar tune. What a tragedy to lose Stuart Adamson so young. To me he dominated his band in a way that few singer guitarists really do – and yes I include the Stranglers – which is why I couldn't bear to watch big country without him and why I have avoided their most recent incarnations. Saw the original band about half a dozen times and will always remember those gigs with affection.
