Missed them on the Black and White tour KJ. They were meant to be supporting The Stranglers at the Glasgow Apollo but Bill Simpson the bass player got attacked in Bridlington by the anti punk brigade after the gig and that was the end of the Skids for that tour. First time I saw them was when they supported The Stranglers at the Loch Lomond Festival in 1979. Great live band. I'm still in touch with Bill Simpson and Tam Kellichan the original drummer.

Not too bad in the studio either. I rate Scared to Dance a raw classic album, still listen to it regularly. Don't know what the fuck Richard Jobson was writing about mind you.
