Is it really David Bowie's new single ? Can't believe it. Would have made a decent b-side in the 80's, nothing more.

So it would seem like the single is his first Top 10 for 20 years! It must have been because he's been away for so long that it's managed that feat, because I wouldn't really put the song in the same bracket of quality as something like, for example, 'Little Wonder', or even 'Jump They Say'!

By all accounts the single isn't representative of the album as the album is a bit of a rocker (apparently) - we shall see.

Well, to my ears anyway, I'd say Robert Wyatt with a bit of Donald Fagen thrown in.

The new album is very good in my opinion, and the current number one (not that it means much)

His voice sounds very weak on the single doesn't it. So does Paul McCartneys voice these days. It will be a shame when Hugh and JJ's voices go won't it.
