The Rough Kutz & SOT 16th June 2012

The Rough Kutz are a Ska band from Stoke, they have had some different line ups over the 15 odd years that they have been going, and Roddy Byers out of the Specials has played with them a few times. They have supported Bad Manners, Nevile Staples, Stiff Little Fingers. Onto the gig itself a very good one. The venue was a small pub with a very small stage. Before the Rough Kutz came on, a local Punk band called Destiantion Venus played a decent set. The place was packed with old skinheads, who started skanking once the Kutz came on, and it became a very sweaty gig. The place was buzzing. They dont do many covers but they did two great covers last night, the first Noise in this world, by the Beat and Rude Boys Outta Jail by the Specials.
