I liked Tim V, but Jimmy is one of the best frontmen of his time.

I was at that gig, enjoyed it, but I really would have enjoyed if Jimmy was in the band.

I saw them about 4 times with Tim singing and i thought they were great..Tim is a good frontman.
Having said that, it will be good to see them with the original 77 line up again.

I saw the Tim version of the band for the first time at Concrete Jungle in 2006. I thought they did a great job and Tim was a better singer than Jimmy. I understand how Sham fans might prefer the original line-up but I was never a great fan of the band in the early days anyway. Seen them a couple of times since and I can't think of anything bad to say about thier performances.

I hope Tim does alright with his new band 'If' and they'll probably be playing my local venue so I'll get to find out.

Probably won't bother to get tickets for the reformed Sham. Too many other shows to spend my cash on. Of course, should they happen to be added to Rebellion 2012 I might just take a look.

So he has left a band that had another more famous 'original' voice, but was considered a better singer - ummmmmm....how about trying some swing?? I hear the pay is quite good.

Looking forward to tomorrow's gig in Brixton. Sham wrote some great tunes and although Jimmy was a bit of a buffoon, it was never dull when he was around!
