I never really got into Adam Ant. Really liked Car Trouble Part 2 and thought Wonderful was superb. Antmusic was ok, but I didn't like the 'image' that was portrayed around all of the hits - which put me off listening to the music.
However, I feel that I am missing out. So, does anyone have any recommendations on what to try to listen to in order to get into it - Or is it all just really dated now and the best way to listen is to live bootlegs?

yeah well adam and the ants was at there best about three years before the chart success. they really started the gothic scene. and there fans the chicken dance,
ant music for sex people.
the crowds where quiet intense, but very loyal abit like the men in black.
i have early demos of adam and the ants from around 1977 - 1978 ill burn for you if you want to check these out.
i am also selling a load of ants singles , as i need to make space.
