A beautiful Scottish sunset. Looking across the Galloway hills with the sun setting behind Threave Castle. It was one of those sunsets that grabs your attention as the colours were just stunning, with orangey pink fingers of light grabbing into the cold dark blue of the coming night sky.
Oh.....and a nice cold beer.

I'll take your Range Rover and rasie you a Dennis RS Water Tender used in many TV shows such as London's Burning. I've driven that beast and let me tell you...13 tonnes and me controlling the airbreaks is fun.Organ Grinder wrote:It's a Range Rover Gloster Saro - built in the 1970's and designed for aircraft f ires. Ours came from an RAF base and altho a little 'weathered' it still does the job and more importantly unlike modern motors, can still be serviced by anyone with a modicum of technical know how (that rules me out!).Georgie wrote:What kind of fire engine? Siren still works, as do the lights and before you ask, yer damn right - I do speed up and down the runway on quiet foggy days with everything wailing and flashing like a twat. Well wouldn't you?
Trying to brake quickly with 3 tonnes of foam in the back can be interesting!
We also had a Shelvoke AKA The Pig. That didn't have a key to start it so any chav could nick it...if they knew how to start it.
So ner.

If Dave was to use a Hammond L100 for just one more gig I'd die content.
