23 each now although I'm pretty sure Euroman (20's in the album charts?) had far much more commercial success than Nosferatu (40's in the album charts?) at the time. JJ toured. Hugh didn't. Late 70's. Still Euroman for me though!
Maybe I'll find love when there's nothing to do........

If I remember correctly JJ said years back in Strangled magazine that Euroman had sold 100,000 copies.

dont really like either, bought euroman when it was first released and its still sitting in collection somewhere
played about 1/2 dozen times and thats it
followed the stranglers from 1977 aged 12 and saw them every year through to 90's still follow today

i agree with euroman being naive, especially all the politics, i think his political ideas and beliefs seem rather naive too.
fire and water, i thought, was absolute crap. didnt mind the vlad song and nuclear power, but what on earth is the dino rap, and detective private what ever its called. dire stuff
nosferatu....gothic masterpiece. try watching the 1922 film to the album, it works. hugh suggests it in an issue of strang

euroman got to n040 &

Nosferatu got to n099 on the week of release.
