I'm actually trying to find one for my parents.
With a 24 hour warden and medical staff.
But my Mum's got dementia and my Dad can't cope alone after his cancer treatment so it's the best choice of a bad lot.
The one we're looking at has communal rooms and gardens and is 5 minutes from our house.

Ah, yes, bit of a generalised statement from me. I hope that you are successful in finding a suitable place for your folks.

I was just fed up with having to get buzzed into private properties and even into whole road complexes while dropping my children round at their friends' houses. It all seems a bit too protectionist.
