Got a good mate moving to Crescent Street Finchly N3 soon and I told him I'd try and get him the skinny on the area, the best kebabaries etc.
Any help from the locals? :-)

There's lots on offer !
IMHO, best kebabs are to be had from Durum (corner of Cornwall Avenue
and Ballards Lane). It is Turkish run and is ace.
On the boozer front, I like the Elephant Inn - friendly and a good pint is to be had but others may have different preferences.
I think the best Indian restaurant at the moment happens to be Hebah up in North Finchley on the High Road in N12. You can't got wrong there.
Finchley is much more agreeable in warmer weather so your mate's move is perfectly timed !

He's been monitoring it every week....
Well, there is no such Street in Finchley, so I suspect he was embarrassed to have wasterd your time.
