Hate 'em personally.
Never played one, but I know someone who had one and constantly moaned about tuning problems.
Besides that, they look shite. :O

Hi Jim,
My son JJ got one for his Christmas, it's absolutely brilliant.
Great for parties, when after a few too many shandies your Burnel impression takes on a totally different light.

The bass steinberger or guitar steinberger? How do they feel to play? are they lighter than the usual Strat ?Toiler On The Sea wrote:Hi Jim,

I've had a black Hohner bass the same as JJ's since 1982 and it's lovely to play. Good high notes up the neck...thin fretboard...very light...A pre-amp set up might give you a bit more ummph live but I still prefer it to record with...It's a bass players bass...the one you'd pick up for the sheer joy of running your fingers around it!...Try and find one to play and you'll understand
Re: Brick on a stick - Anyone played one? What they like
I have had one since the 80s. I suppose I was tempted because of the great man himself. (PS I expect that the Limitation Act 1980 applies to my post - so apologies if I am a little late!).
