Anyway let's get back to paying the respects to the Duke, surely whatever anyone thinks of his jokes, still an amazing man who led a full and colourful life, was still very active until his mid nineties. Lt Kudu.

Surely Shirley Williams deserves as much respect and media coverage on her passing as prince Philip? She really was an important political figures for over 40 years.

I met prince Philip a few times - a genuinely witty man.

Yes and a very moving Funeral, especially the carriage with the horses he used and his cap and trousers on the seat, I was very moved, he was a lovely bloke, he had a zest for life and knew about duty, I almost shed a tear. And I'm not ashamed to admit it. Lt Kudu.

Go on then MiBster mate. And wasn’t there a cowboy and Indian malarkey thing too?
To be honest I wasn’t impressed (although I did laugh) at the time as I was working for the Government and if we had said anything like what he had said we would have been sacked immediately.

But now? I thought he was funny as fuck.
He was a nice man with a Great sense of humour and used it to put people at ease. If anyone didn’t like his sense of humour then they must be the last person you’d want to go out for a pint with, boring fecks!
