Films.

Post by Halifax Linda »

Recently Kudu started a thread on films about “Westerns”
Some of us wandered off topic.
So what other films. Any genres are favourites??
Like I said I got “Whistle down the wind” for Xmas.
Love Hammer house of horror.
Godfather. Goodfellas. True Romance Jaws. Spinal Tap to name a few.

Created by Bill Dubuque ("The Accountant," "The Judge"), this drama series stars Jason Bateman as Marty Byrde, a financial planner who relocates his family from Chicago to a summer resort community in the Ozarks. With wife Wendy and their two kids in tow, Marty is on the move after a money-laundering scheme goes wrong, forcing him to pay off a substantial debt to a Mexican drug lord in order to keep his family safe. While the Byrdes' fate hangs in the balance, the dire circumstances force the fractured family to reconnect.

So many to choose from, will have a think, I will say ones I hate are anything with zipper mouth Cameron Diaz,I love the carry on films, on the buses, Laurel and Hardy, John Wayne, mainly classics from 60s to 80s,modern films don't do much for me sadly, love Dracula films, classic horror, don't really like romantic films, but a real gem has to be Doc Hollywood with Michael J Fox, a romantic film that rises above the soppy shit of most of them. I've just finished watching "Layer Cake" again, seen it before but it's a good film. I don't have a type or genre, I'll watch anything if it's any good.
