This coronavirus is showing how sick society truely is.
I just hope when its over we all have a better understanding that wealth equality is just as important as race, gender and religon equality is.
What is your current Covid employment state?

I hope you are right. My concern is that things will drift back to normal once this is just a memory. I would love the human race to prove me wrong...

Still furloughed since 23 march and heard nothing from the company
Re: What is your current Covid employment state?
I work in the public sector and I'm currently working from home - even though it's very quiet and a bit boring sometimes, I'm very grateful for it. It gives me a routine, plus my job is secure, so I'm more fortunate than many others.

Everyone back to employment? I know a fair few people that have been made redundant.

Re: What is your current Covid employment state?
Sadly I've just been made redundant after being furloughed since March.
It's not ideal, but it's not all been doom and gloom, as the utter enjoyment of being off work for months has actually been quite lovely.
I worked for a charity which dealt with many, many care homes across the spectrum and a massive outbreak has been the nail in the coffin for many mangerial staff like myself.
Here's to a new chapter!

I've just realised this will mean I'll be spending a lot of time on places like here. So sorry in advancefourth horseman wrote: ↑27 Oct 2020, 00:35 Sadly I've just been made redundant after being furloughed since March.
