My Annual Miranda Hart award for unfunniest comic.
Ok my annual Miranda Hart award for the unfunniest comedian this year has two recipients and they are jointly Mr Michael Mcintyre and Mr James Corden.I could mention others but these
to particularly deserve my award, for being not just the two unfunniest on the planet but also the award for being annoying(and that's being kind) They will be flown to The Serengeti with
no rations, just the clothes they are wearing and a copy each of their latest DVD.The award will be left in the middle of a Lion pride with cubs.Congratulations chaps.

Corden and McIntyre are fairly obvious targets. I propose those dreadfully unfunny QI luvvies Noble and Davies.
I'll even let you drive my motorbike . . .

Russell Howard would be my permanent recipient for this award

'Peaches - A Chronicle of The Stranglers from 1974 to 1990', out 2014 on Soundcheck Books.

Funnily enough I think Miranda Hart would be a good nomination .... although pretty much most modern comedians could fit the bill . Certainly nothing of the calibre of Connolly , Mayall/Edmonson. Atkinson , Cleese etc etc around these days . Most of it all seems very tame and unadventurous now . The punk era of comedy is gone , like music .
All quiet ..........

steve wright, an American or Canadian comic from the 70's/80's was funny. pure dead-pan. he once said about modern technology...."scientists have invented powdered water....what do we add?"
these days, the comedians I would personally rate are....stewart francis and micky Flanagan. even billy Connolly got real stale in the last few years. can't knock his earlier stuff but I think he peaked when he done 'an audience with'.....that was/is tears down the cheek stuff. jimmy carr I suppose can be quite funny but he just wants to try and shock his audience eh?
ach, I dunno.....we all have varied tastes, some people think michaem Macintyre is the funniest comic ever....others think he's a posh fud

And the Bake Off bats, Sue Perkins especially, who told them they're funny? Christ they seem to be being promoted as the new French & Saunders (who I know some folk can't stand too but I like 'em).
