ah reckon back in the 70's Squeeze were getting a hard time from punk bands for being a bunch of fuds and Joolz is still spittin' his dummy out. does anyone remember the re-formed magazine on a couple of years ago....the Devoto interview took a bit of a sinister turn at the end eh. if you haven't seen it, it may be on youtube. joolz just sorta stopped the interview, stood up, picked Magazine's new album up....looked at it then chucked it back on the table. there's NO WAY the stranglers or the damned or killing joke are going to be on THAT show like...if for no other reason it's probably the wrong audience. it's mainly world/new age/experimental shit that's on it now anyway. the odd decent band pop up but you gotta sit through all the pish to find 'em. the only bands i've seen on the show that suit our tastes (let's face it, we're a collective here) are PIL and Siouxsie to be honest.
