Trainstations & Timetables whats your favourite?

Post by pigeon »

For Me its Victoria for several reasons but 1 pulling into Vicotria means its the start of another Wonky Bus Trip. Also i prefer it to London Bridge, because that means you will be going to Bromley South instead of Grove Park. I don't actually mind Grove Park trainstation until about 10pm at night.

Number 2 has to be Croydon Station for the simple fact it has an interchange platform where you can go straight to Brighton if your going to see The Stranglers, better than going all the way to Heathrow.

Number 3 Paddington Station handy all round Really.

Number 4. Euston this is when your going on a MEGAHOLIDAY, I'm Very rareley at Euston, which is why its only at Number 4.

Number 5. Orpington Trainstation fantastic archetecture you really have to see it to believe it.

Number 6. Charlton Speaks for it self really Right near the valley

Number 7. Guildford London Road I dunno why the leaft hill that takes me up to the main road

Number 8. Bristol Temple Meads Looks like a spaceship

Number 9.Burnage Station Manchester Step of the train all alone at dawn, back into the hole where i was born the sun in the sky never raised an eye for meeeeee

Number 10. London Waterloo this i really don't like but,its like South Western Trains got the budget movie budget over South Eastern Trains .... Over to you

Rochdale to Hebden Bridge is a good one. The Trades Club there puts on some great gigs. Unfortunately I've not been yet and I'd probably drive if I did.
Ornithology anyone?
I saw plenty of buzzards today.
And I wish we had red kites around here too. Impressive.

Newhaven Town, when I see this Platform I know I'm home

I say Town because it has two others, not bad for a town of 10,000!

Newhaven Harbour & Newhaven Marine (if iI'm being honest they don't the Marine anymore)
