Re: Old TV Programmes
There was a programme with Edward Woodward - he played the leader of a set of rebels in a British Police State. Couldn't tell you what it was called but I seem to remember thinking it was brill.
I can't help getting old. I just refuse to grow up.

......1990 it was called apparently - a "futuristic" thriller, which I guess it was in 1977...

Bonanza......loved the theme song and opening credits.
She was poetry in a world that was still learning the alphabet....
Re: Old TV Programmes
hey, does anyone remember a real dodgy american tv show from the mid 80's (i think) called 'COP ROCK'. it was like Hill Street Blues but all of a sudden....people would just start singing...absolutely bizarre.

Don't remember that one ( actually Googled it to make sure you didn't 'dream' it.)sewer rat wrote:hey, does anyone remember a real dodgy american tv show from the mid 80's (i think) called 'COP ROCK'. it was like Hill Street Blues but all of a sudden....people would just start singing...absolutely bizarre.
Sounds good, though.
How about 'The Cuckoo Waltz' with Lewis Collins, Diane Keen and some other guy who didn't go on to bigger things?
Re: Old TV Programmes
go onto youtube and type in 'cop rock tv series'....there's clips....you won't be disappointed...it's fkn shite
Re: Old TV Programmes
see that guy from the cuckoo waltz, 70's sitcom, not Lewis Collins (RIP) but the other guy....i'm sure he's in a fairly recent film called The Damned United. could be mistaken but it's worth checking.

Series about rival gangs set in Birmingham, the second series became increasingly bizarre. Something else that never gets a re-run unfortunately.
I'll even let you drive my motorbike . . .
