Top five Stranglers songs you have never heard live
Ok I have more scope here, being a bit of a Johnny come lately and about 35 years behind many of you. I am excluding B&W as it will be played in its entirety in March. So:
Let me introduce you to the family
Choosy Susie
Bear cage
Dreamtime
See me coming

I can't help getting old. I just refuse to grow up.

Trouble is , going back as far as 1979 - I can't remember every song they've played live that I've seen .
Choosy Susie definitely .
Tomorrow Was
Unsure about many others .

family was a regular back then, and viewed as one of their strongest live numbers, haven't heard it for ages though

Re: Top five Stranglers songs you have never heard live
I lose track of which songs I've heard live, and which ones I've got live recordings of (often thanks to people on this forum). Most of the obscure b-sides and so on count, and although it would be interesting to hear them live, it doesn't necessarily mean they're all that good as a live track. Something like "Toiler" is generally better live than on record (though not much), whereas my excitement at hearing they'd done "Vietnamerica" live was dampened a bit when I heard it. I think I'd like to hear "Laughing at the Rain", but (a) I can't remember if I've heard it live when it was new (I recall it from somewhere, a live album perhaps), and (b) I'm not sure the vocal isn't a bit complex if you've got to play a guitar at the same time.
